Sodastream has commissioned retail kiosks, as well other studies for the brand commercial areas, for the company´s engagement in Portugal…

The company branding strategy relies on an ecologically responsible approach. It is possible to have a soda anytime, saving roughly more than 500 plastic bottles per person a year. We based the process design on the same concept…

The kiosks were conceived to be in shopping malls corridors, where fluid circulation is key while needing time to educate the consumer about Sodastream. From multiple layout exercises, the diagonal setting fitted both needs…

Within only 6m², the booth has two testing soda machines, a self-sufficient water supply, register area, product placement and video totem, along with storage area…

In between the two testing counters, used plastic bottles remind the company´s ambition, of stopping plastic waste. A metaphor for the need for shrinking individual waist…

Apart from the ecological premise, the end product of Sodastream is providing carbonated water, and the kiosk mimics it, by having carbonated water tanks, for product placement…

Sodastream has been investing in branding and design of every related element, and the machines were recently redesigned by acclaimed swiss designer Yves Behar. The kiosks use every opportunity, especially with light, to highlight every detail of the design…

The Sodastream stalls were first implemented in Portugal, but soon to become internationally adopted by the brand, as it represents the lightness and contemporaneity image of the company.
